Barcelona Set to Play Inaugural Game at Upgraded Camp Nou this Saturday
The club confirmed their first game will take place at the renovated but unfinished Camp Nou on Saturday. Athletic Bilbao will visit Athletic Bilbao in the Spanish league two and a half years since relocating for construction to commence.

The stadium will not be at full capacity with 45,401 fans will be allowed to watch based on approved permits. When completed, it will accommodate almost 105,000 spectators, up from the previous 99,000. The club said recent additions comprise a renovated tunnel for players and new dressing rooms.
Stadium Testing
Barça organized a fan-accessible workout on the home pitch on 7 November. They mentioned approval is being pursued from European football’s governing body to play their next home Champions League game facing Eintracht on 9 December at the stadium. Previous fixtures took place at Estadio Olímpic Lluís Companys.
